Bob is committed to helping business owners achieve their goals. He uses his exceptional technical skills, a never-ending supply of good ideas and a genuine consultant mindset when working with his clients. He has a unique ability to understand, in-depth, the issues his clients face. He is careful to consider the overall environment of the situation, including its various complexities, to use his experience to provide the best solution. Bob has been instrumental in helping clients with their transactions. He advises his clients to consider comprehensive consequences of strategic tax planning along with the planning of important business transitions. He provides tax compliance and consulting services to domestic and international corporations, partnerships and individuals. He has experience in a number of industries including manufacturing, construction, professional services, equipment rental, fabrication, technical services and private equity groups. A certified M &A advisor and partner-in-charge of the tax section of the firm’s Transaction Advisory Services group, Bob uses his 25 years of experience to assist companies with: federal, multi-state and international operations; succession planning; tax structuring for mergers, acquisitions, recapitalizations; acquisition due diligence projects and all aspects of tax planning and compliance. Bob serves as a guest speaker in the University of Houston MBA program and gives presentations at civic and trade group conferences. He also enjoys teaching the Junior Achievement program to elementary school children, which he has done for more than 15 years. Bob is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and its Houston chapter, and the Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors. He earned a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Houston.
